Here are some common questions to help make your Tea Book & Candle experience smooth and easy.

🕯️ Candle Care & Safety

How should I care for my candle?

  • Always place your candle on a stable, flat, heat resistant surface & away from flammable items.
  • Trim candle wick to 1/4" before each use to keep wax clean and to avoid mushrooming.
  • Avoid burning your candle for more than 3hrs at a time.
  • Never leave your burning candle unattended
  • Always keep your candles well out of reach from pets and children
  • Always allow enough time for the wax to burn to the edges to avoid ‘Tunnelling'

Are your candles made with natural ingredients?
Yes! Each candle is hand-poured using a high-quality natural coconut soy wax blend, premium fragrance oils, and cotton wicks for a clean, even burn.

Can I reuse my candle jar or teacup?
Absolutely. Once your candle has finished burning, gently clean out any remaining wax and repurpose the vessel for trinkets, tea, or décor — we love seeing how you give them new life!

🌿 Orders & Shipping

Where do you ship?
We currently ship Australia-wide. International shipping may be added in the future — stay tuned!

How long will my order take to arrive?
Orders are typically processed within 2–3 business days. Once shipped, you’ll receive a tracking number via email. Delivery times vary depending on your location.

Do you offer local pickup?
At this stage, we’re an online-only store — but we’re always exploring new ways to make our candles easier to reach you!

💛 Returns & Refunds

What is your return policy?
Due to the handmade nature of our products, we don’t accept returns for change of mind. However, if your order arrives damaged or there’s an issue with your candle, please contact us at  within 7 days of delivery and we’ll make it right.

How do I report a damaged or incorrect item?
Please email us at hello@teabookandcandle.com.au with your order number and a photo of the item, and we’ll be happy to help resolve it quickly.

Every candle is hand-poured by Sherilyn in small batches with love, care, and a touch of whimsy — inspired by cozy moments, good books, and the comfort of tea.

Do you have a physical store?
Not yet, but we’re dreaming of one someday! For now, our cozy creations live right here online.
